Happy Hollow Playground Project

In 2018, the West Lafayette Parks and Recreation Foundation partnered with West Lafayette Parks and Recreation to replace aging playground equipment at Happy Hollow Park, located near Happy Hollow Road and North River Road.

The project was completed in 2019 with the installation of new playground equipment, creating an updated space for children and families to play, explore and connect with the outdoors.

Project Goals and Community Impact

The Happy Hollow Playground Project reflected the Foundation's commitment to providing safe, welcoming and engaging recreational spaces for future generations. The project focused on:

• Encouraging active play: Providing updated equipment that promotes physical activity, creativity and exploration.
• Supporting healthy development: Creating opportunities for children to build social, physical and cognitive skills through play.
• Enhancing community spaces: Investing in existing park amenities to ensure they remain enjoyable for residents and visitors.
